Character Name: Arthur (Harrison Wilcox)
Canon: Inception
AU/OC/Previous Game: AU
Age: 36
Appearance: Arthur stands at about 5'10". He is slender but packs a mean punch - military crafted. He has a bold jawline and slight clef chin. Long fingers. Generally toned up nice. He wears his hair slicked back and neat. His eyes are a warm deep brown and his hair is near black. He dressed very tidily. Shirt, vest, tie, pressed pants.

Cause of Death: After the job for Saito, Arthur continued his work alone with the contacts he'd built over the years and occasionally employed Eames and/or Ariadne for this one and that. One day, about a year after he was involved in a job that went down very poorly. The boss that hired him never forgave and he'd been running ever since. He was found a month later and after plenty of struggle he was shot twice in the chest and once in the head for good measure.

Impact of Death: He will be mentally panicked for quite some time. Arthur, being Arthur, is likely to keep a calm veneer and do the job. That's how he had learned when be enrolled as a frontline. What is now. Take care of now. Look ahead. Just do. Do not think. So he will continue to logic his way around everything but beneath it all he will be desperately trying to not fall apart and will be struggling greatly with his grasp on reality.

Character Info:
--- personality ---
He is the point of logic. Skeptical. Analytical. Smart. Stable. Strong. He knows how to separate emotion from duty. Due to his extreme stronghold on reality he is typically used on second level dreamstates. He does the research and exposes the dirt and checks for threats. He makes sure people get from A to B almost like a bodyguard or Commanding Officer. He keeps everything together and in functioning order. He's The Point.

There is a second level to him and even a third -- one of his biggest flaws is his hidden desire for adrenalin and his excruciating need for control. Being a man who went from logistics to on the field and then further in to the world of crime, his entire understanding of humanity has warped and his only way to deal with everything was to take control. He left the army for two reasons: the things he endured and the PASIV -- that addicting place where anything is possible. He comes off so dignified and proper but at the very core his morals are questionable. After all, the PASIV belongs to him. This will more than likely become evident in game play.

Arthur has shown some knowledge in architecture and while it is not his duty one might wonder if he could build himself.

His Totem is a Red Loaded Die. In the dream, it always lands on five. This is due to the fact that he is a Craps player. Not only did he first meet Eames on a joint job that was set in a casino but he won rolling fives. Thus, he only rolls fives in the dream.

He is proficient in the use of firearms.

--- history ---
Arthur was born on Fort Hamilton's base to a fry cook and a General. He was shipped off to distant family of the General's with periodic visits and letters. As a smart child, he took a liking to logistics. He aced his classes in the science and mathematics field and pursued a joint degree from Fordham University in International Management and Information Systems. Obtaining that, he joined the army as part of their Logistic's team.

As all persons in the army, he endured the brutal training. It was here that dream-sharing came to his life. He was hooked immediately. A place where anything was possible. He offered to start field training for just this reason. One tour, two tours, and many hardships seen, he takes the PASIV one night and disappears. Literally. Not a single trail of paper left behind.

There is a very important part of his life that still silently haunts him. Unlike Cobb, Arthur's stronghold on reality and ability to detach is so keen that he can keep memories and dreams completely separate. Nevertheless there is a memory that haunts his dreams on a regular basis and is the reason that he left with the PASIV. Part of him feels every bit the criminal.

As mentioned before, he met Eames in a job once. Conveniently it was the same job he met Cobb with. Arthur recognized there was some similarity between he and Cobb and the man was good at what he did. They remained friends. At first, Arthur did not like Eames at all. Over the years he has warmed up to the man quite a bit but will regardless not admit so. He met Ariadne who later becomes his most single biggest regret after Cobb agreed to attempt inception for Saito.

His last thoughts before the bullet was put in his head was of her.

Arthur is a normal everyday human. When he gets in the game mode he is a force to be reckoned with and there is no doubt in anyone's mind that he was an army man. The enemy will be defeated, period, or he will die trying. That is the end of it.

Arthur is very smart. He is a strategist, he is innovative with his ways of thinking, and he is incredibly good with numbers and formulas. He also has shown some talent in architecture and technology particularly hacking systems.

Arthur was in the military. That much is clear. What exactly he did is uncertain and he doesn't talk about it. He doesn't talk about his parents. He doesn't talk about his life or even himself on most occasions. He doesn't talk about how he met anyone he now knows.

The PASIV belongs to him. Did he run tests in the Military? Did he help training programs? The transition from a life in Service to a life of crime is questionable. Why did he steal the PASIV? Is he running from something? Is there an over-seeing threat? Is he just a thrill seeker?

His past is a mystery and how he knows Cobb and Eames is just as much. The point is? He knows them. He does the job, he loves the job, and this is his life now. He doesn't have anyone flagging him but people know him as The Point Man. Like Cobb is The Extractor, and he's the best, Arthur is The Point. And he's the best out there.
